Saying Farewell to 2018 Summer Interns

Every summer, Clever Devices welcomes various students to take part in a 10-week internship program and this year we hosted our largest group ever.

As part of our formal intern program, the interns worked in various offices in North America across several departments such as finance, human resources, applications engineering, marketing and more.

The Clever Devices Intern program is designed to enable students to develop professional skills by fully immersing themselves in real- life work. In their departments, the interns contributed to individual and group projects and learned about the public transportation industry. In doing so, they acquired real-world experience attending meetings, managing a schedule and meeting deadlines.

Throughout the program, interns had opportunities to participate in “lunch & learns” with senior management and company executives. These “lunch & learns” provide in-depth information about Clever Devices and personal and professional mentoring.

This years interns represented colleges & universities from many different places like in Canada; McGill University. Midwest schools like Washington University, as well as many east coast schools like North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University at Buffalo, Capitol Technology University, Virginia Tech, Hofstra University and many more.
